A Destiny 2 player showcases their collection of exotic swords from The Taken King, the expansion where the weapon class made its debut.
Swords have been a mainstay in guardians arsenal since Destiny’s first large-scale expansion, The Taken King, and one Destiny 2 player is showcasing their appreciation of the weapon with their replica collection of the first three exotic swords in the series’ history. There is no shortage of swords for players to bring into battle which, along with bows and more recent addition of glaives in The Witch Queen, guardians can live out their truest space wizard fantasy with weapons to match. However, it all began with three swords born out of the titular Taken King’s own sword, which have been brought to life with careful accuracy in said replicas.
Swords have typically served as a melee-focused heavy weapon option for guardians across Destiny and Destiny 2, making them especially useful in spaces where explosives could threaten themselves and reloading could leave them open to enemies.
