Romance rumors about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce started in July when he shared his crush on the singer. Per sources, here’s where Swift and Kelce stand now.
She’s on the bleachers!
Things are looking up for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. ICYMI, on Sept. 12, the Messenger reported that Taylor and Travis were “hanging out,” two months after the Chiefs player made his crush on the “Karma” singer public. (Travis discussed Taylor on his podcast with brother Jason in July, explaining how he wanted to meet her at the Eras Tour in Kansas City.) On Sept. 13, a source told Entertainment Tonight that the duo are not officially dating, but it does sound like Kelce, at least, is open to seeing things through. And Swift even showed up at one of his games to cheer her rumored beau on.
“It’s hilarious how much traction this has actually gotten, right now it’s like a game of telephone,” Kelce said on The Pat McAfee Show on Sept. 21, per E!. “No one actually knows what’s going on, especially when you got Jason Kelce on live television telling people both sides — he doesn’t know, it’s true, this and that.” (More on Jason’s commentary later.)
Travis added, “I threw it out there, I threw the ball in her court… I told her, you know, I’ve seen you rock the stage in Arrowhead [Stadium], you might have to come see me rock the stage in Arrowhead and see which one’s a little more lit. So, we’ll see what happens in the near future.”
Sure enough, Swift took Travis up on his offer. On Sept. 24, Swift was spotted in the stands cheering Travis on at the Chicago Bears vs. Kansas City Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium. Not only that, the singer was seated right next to Travis’ mom.
Swift hasn’t actually commented on the rumors directly, but sources have done so for her.
