A social media post from Donald Trump Jr. following Sunday’s attempt on his father’s life saw old tweets resurface.
Paul Pelosi, husband of former Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, was trending on X (formerly Twitter) early Monday following comments made by Donald Trump Jr. slamming commentators mocking the attempted assassination of his father, former President Donald Trump, on Sunday.
In a response to a post by podcast co-host Rachel Vindman, who is also the wife of a former White House staffer, Trump Jr. said: «These people are f—— demented.»
Trump was commenting on a tweet from Vindman which read: «No ears were harmed. Carry on with your Sunday afternoon», in an apparent reference to the July attempt on the former president’s life at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
The post elicited mixed reactions from users.
