Universal Orlando Resort reveals the official opening date of its fourth theme park, Epic Universe, following much anticipation.
Universal Orlando Resort just announced the May 22, 2025 opening date of its fourth theme park, the much-anticipated Epic Universe. Having been in development since 2019, the opening date for this massive expansion to the Universal property was originally speculated to be in late 2025.
Epic Universe is Universal’s most ambitious project and is set to be its biggest park yet. For years, little was known about the opening date outside the nebulous given timeframe of late 2025. Construction is well underway, with many of the themed areas in the park nearing completion, and many rides and props now being tested, so fans have been anxiously waiting for an official opening date.
Universal clarified that Epic Universe will be open to the public beginning May 22, 2025.
