Mariah Carey took to social media to announce that she had to abruptly cancel her concert in Pittsburgh after coming down with the flu.
Mariah Carey had to temporarily say “Bye Bye” to her fans in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The Grammy winner came down with symptoms of the “flu” and canceled her concert on Wednesday only hours before she was set to take the stage.
“Pittsburgh, I am sorry to say, I’ve come down with the flu,” Carey wrote in a statement shared via X.
“It breaks my heart that I unfortunately have to cancel tonight’s show. I love you all so much.”
The 55-year-old is currently on her Christmas Time tour which takes the songstress across 20 different cities in the United States.
Carey famously goes all out for the holiday season as her hit song “All I Want for Christmas Is You” has become synonymous with the month of December.
