DURHAM, N. C., Jan. 4 (UPI) — Grayson Allen’s «indefinite» suspension for tripping lasted one game.
The junior All-American is averaging 16 points and 4.7 rebounds per game this season. The Blue Devils lost its only game without Allen Saturday, falling 89-75 to Virginia Tech. Allen’s last game was Dec. 21 against Elon. During that game, Allen tripped Elon’s Steven Santa Ana, drawing a technical foul.
He was suspended «indefinetly» by Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski on Dec. 22 and was stripped of his captaincy on Jan. 2.
Luke Kennard, Jayson Tatum, Harry Giles, and Amile Jefferson will also start for Duke Wednesday when it faces Georgia Tech at 7 p.m. in ACC play at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
