It wasn’t that long ago that Nextbit burst onto the smartphone scene with promises that it would build a phone that can get better with age. The Robin was an interesting device that offered a style unlike most others and a price that was tempting, but most importantly, it had a unique cloud platform that would automatically optimize the space on your device. While the deal happened before the weekend, it has now been uncovered that Robin has been purchased by gaming accessory maker Razer.

The post does not give us any details about future products coming from Nextbit, but with its first handset being released over a year ago, a refresh is certainly in order.
