Alabama’s coach cracked a bit of a smile as he walked off the podium.
Nick Saban had a few things to get off his chest.
After a seemingly innocuous inquiry about sophomore linebacker Christian Miller, the Alabama football coach launched into a minute-long rant. Not about Miller, but centered around the notion that today’s media already has some things figured out.

Not quite to Allen Iverson’s level, but good stuff from Saban. Endless preseason predictions and prognostications can be tiring, but fans are aching for some football.
And he’s got a point. How would we know Alabama football is going to be any good this year? The Crimson Tide have won fewer than 12 games in a season just twice in the past eight years, and that’s included four national championships.
Just keep an eye on Christian Miller.
