Paul Walker stars in this incredible tale of survival about a group of scientists in Antarctica who are forced to leave their sled dogs behind after an accident. Although there is some dog-related sadness, the bigger message is one of hope.

Tim Burton’s black-and-white animated film is a tribute to the horror classics of old Hollywood. And it’s an incredible sweet story of a boy and his dog, Sparky — brought back to life, Dr. Frankenstein-style, to unexpected consequences. But Sparky, like many other seemingly threatening dogs, is more misunderstood than monstrous.
