Alex Morgan was booted from Epcot.
US soccer star Alex Morgan apologized Wednesday after being booted from Disney World’s Epcot on Sunday following an alleged eight-hour booze-fest.
“I want to apologize for my actions that occurred over the weekend,” the 28-year-old athlete tweeted to her 3.41 million followers . “I will learn from this make sure it does not happen again. #liveandlearn.”
Morgan and Orlando City soccer stars Donald “Donny” Toia and Giles Barnes were “trespassed from Disney on Oct. 1,” the Orange County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to Page Six. Barnes, 29, was said to have cut in front of another guest inside the pub located in the United Kingdom section of the World Showcase. He was issued a trespass warning.
Morgan is described in the incident report by officer Armando Harwood as being “highly impaired,” as she was escorted outside the Spaceship Earth attraction. She also is said to have made “a loud verbal statement that she knows the Orlando Swat team.”
Toia, 25, was also noted as “getting verbal with managers and guests at the U. K. pub.” He, along with wife Courtney and Morgan, were taken to a conference room, where “they continued to be belligerent, with screaming and yelling. They did not want to listen to any instruction and only wanted to argue why they were being trespassed from Disney,” per the report.
Harwood says he activated his body camera until the three left the premises.
Morgan, a forward on the Orlando Pride in the National Women’s Soccer League, had been attending Epcot’s annual Food and Wine Festival. She documented the boozy festivities, known as “drinking around the world,” on Instagram.
“Annual around the world in 8 hours. No big,” she captioned a social media shot.
