Hiland Dairy has issued a voluntary recall of two products produced at the Omaha, Nebraska, facility over concerns they may contain milk protein, which could affect those with milk allergies.
People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk face serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume the products, though no illnesses or allergic reactions have been reported thus far.
The affected products were sold in Iowa, Nebraska, Colorado and Kansas.
The recalled Hiland Orange Juice has a sell-by date of Feb. 5, and the Tampico Citrus Punch has a sell-by date of March 9.
If you’ve purchased one of the products, you can throw it away or return it for an exchange.
