Chinese people in Tokyo have taken to the streets in anger against the APA hospitality chain.
It has been placing books written by its CEO, which dismiss a massacre by Japanese troops as a fabrication, in its hotel rooms.
In December 1937, Japanese troops invaded the eastern city of Nanjing.
China says more than 300,000 of its people were massacred – some historians say the figure is lower, while some Japanese nationalists deny any killings took place.
