Michigan moved up to No. 8 in both major polls Tuesday.
Michigan’s season-opening win against Florida was enough to impress pollsters in both major polls.
The Wolverines jumped one spot to No. 8 in this week’s Amway Coaches Poll and moved up three spots to No. 8 in The Associated Press’ latest poll.
Michigan (1-0) topped Florida (who fell to No. 22 in the AP and No. 24 in coaches) , 33-17, Saturday in Texas. The Wolverines will host Cincinnati on Saturday (noon, ABC) at Michigan Stadium.
