The new Android 8.0 Oreo Beta 2 for OnePlus 5 comes with several tweaks, fixes and feature improvements.
OnePlus started rolling out the second Android 8.0 Oreo beta build for its OnePlus 5 model on Friday. The new OxygenOS Open Beta 2 update comes with several tweaks, fixes and feature improvements, and is currently available for beta users to download.
OnePlus 5 users, who are already running the first beta, will receive the second beta as an over-the-air (OTA) update, which includes fixes for the Launcher, the Camera app, the Files Manager, November Android security patch and several other system improvements.

The size of the firmware file is 1.52GB. Therefore, users are recommended to charge their devices and connect to a Wi-Fi network before proceeding.
Users should also keep in mind that it’s a beta software version which may not be as stable as official OTA updates. It should also be noted that once users migrate to the beta path, they will keep receiving Open Beta OTAs, but will no longer receive the regular official stable OTAs.
