Eagles fans cannot be stopped.
The city of Philadelphia has conceded defeat in its efforts to stop Eagles fans from celebrating in ridiculous ways… at least when it pertains to grease.
Ahead of the NFC Championship Game, police greased up Philly light poles with Crisco in hopes of keeping Eagles fans from climbing up them if they reached the Super Bowl. As we saw from the Eagles’ win over the Vikings, the Crisco did not work.
As a result, the city won’t even try to grease up the light poles for Sunday’s Super Bowl LII.

The city may still try to keep Eagles fans off light poles if by some chance the Eagles actually win the franchise’s first Super Bowl. It just won’t involve Crisco.
Via CBS Local:
«Some of them will be far more difficult than the Crisco attempt. We’re trying to keep people safe,» said Ross.
Eagles fans will probably take that as a challenge.
