Microsoft updates OneNote for Windows 10 with many new features

Microsoft’s note-taking tool is getting a pretty significant update today, with new features such as built-in translation, more text formatting options, a transparent live tile, and more.
Microsoft is rolling out a new update for OneNote on Windows 10 starting today, and it brings along a slew of improvements and new features to the app both for Insiders and general users.
The announcement comes from OneNote Product Manager William Devereux on Twitter and it comes with a fairly extensive changelog. Here’s what’s new for general users:
Insiders are also getting a host of improvements today. However, it should be noted that some of the new additions may already have been available to you if you enabled experimental features in the Options menu within the app. Our test devices haven’t yet received an update today, yet some of the announced features already seem to be present. Nonetheless, here’s the announced changelog:
That’s certainly quite an upgrade, and fans of the app will likely appreciate all the improvements it carries. This is especially welcome as the UWP app is set to supersede the OneNote app in Office 2019. The update is rolling out gradually, so don’t fret if it hasn’t popped up for you yet.
