Devil May Cry 5 Has Time Saving Microtransactions; Itsuno: You Should Be Able to Play The Way You Want

The TGS 2018 demo of Devil May Cry 5 revealed that the game has time saving microtransactions. The Game Director explained why.
It’s been a busy week for Devil May Cry 5 between a new trailer from TGS 2018, the official system requirements for the PC version and rumors of online multiplayer features that have yet to be confirmed or denied by CAPCOM.
However, while playing the new TGS 2018 demo, Gamespot discovered that Devil May Cry 5 will feature microtransactions; to be specific, it will be possible to acquire Red Orbs with real money to speed up character progression. Here’s what Game Director Hideaki Itsuno had to say about this:
