A Tooele man accused of kidnapping, drugging and raping a woman for approximately two weeks was formally charged Wednesday.
TOOELE — Criminal charges were filed Wednesday against a Tooele man accused of drugging, raping and kidnapping a woman for approximately two weeks.
Casey Ray “Ogre” Nielsen, 36, is charged in 3rd District Court with aggravated kidnapping, rape, and aggravated sexual assault, all first-degree felonies, as well as possession of a dangerous weapon by a restricted person, a second-degree felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a class B misdemeanor.
On Nov. 21, a 22-year-old woman claimed a pillowcase was placed over her head, her hands were tied with a rope and she was taken to a room inside a Tooele house, according to charging documents.
Over the next few days, Nielsen gave the woman “several injections of an unknown substance,” causing her to not remember what happened next, the charges state.
