A Tooele man accused of kidnapping, drugging and raping a woman for approximately two weeks was formally charged Wednesday.
TOOELE — Criminal charges were filed Wednesday against a Tooele man accused of drugging, raping and kidnapping a woman for approximately two weeks.
Casey Ray « Ogre » Nielsen, 36, is charged in 3rd District Court with aggravated kidnapping, rape, and aggravated sexual assault, all first-degree felonies, as well as possession of a dangerous weapon by a restricted person, a second-degree felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a class B misdemeanor.
On Nov. 21, a 22-year-old woman claimed a pillowcase was placed over her head, her hands were tied with a rope and she was taken to a room inside a Tooele house, according to charging documents.
Over the next few days, Nielsen gave the woman « several injections of an unknown substance, » causing her to not remember what happened next, the charges state.
