КИЕВ. 7 сентября. УНН. Генсек ООН Антониу Гутерреш и секретариат ООН будут ждать решения Совета Безопасности по отправке на восток Украины миротворцев. Об этом сообщил в четверг официальный представитель генсека Стефан Дюжаррик, передает УНН со ссылкой на РИА «Новости».
Издание отмечает, что постпред РФ при ООН Василий Небензя заявил в минувший вторник, что Россия направила председателю СБ ООН и генеральному секретарю проект резолюции об учреждении миссии по содействию защите наблюдателей ОБСЕ на юго-востоке Украины. Консультации по документу начнутся на уровне экспертов и далее — на уровне постпредов.
Дюжаррик подтвердил, что генсек получил соответствующее письмо.
«Как секретариат, мы, конечно, будем руководствоваться решениями Совета Безопасности», — сказал он.

Напомним, 24 августа, Президент Украины Петр Порошенко обсудил с министром обороны США Джеймсом Маттис возможную присутствие на Донбассе миротворческой миссии ООН .
Также постоянный представитель Украины в ООН Владимир Ельченко заявил, что П. Порошенко в ООН будет поднимать вопрос о введении миротворческой миссии на Донбассе.
Напомним, президент России Владимир Путин во вторник заявил, что не против размещения миротворцев ООН на Донбассе, однако они должны быть только на линии разграничения и ни на каких других территориях.
В МИД Украины в свою очередь отметили, что заявление Путина свидетельствует об очередной попытке России представить агрессию на Донбассе » внутреннеукраинским конфликтом и исказить саму идею и цели введения миротворческой операции».

Hulu and Spotify help college students procrastinate with a new partnership

Spotify and Hulu have entered a new partnership to offer American students the ‘perfect streaming entertainment bundle.’
If giving your child-turned-college-student a music or movie-streaming service subscription just seems too encouraging of non-academic behaviors, fret not. Those services are just gifting themselves instead. Capitalizing upon the college kids’ penchant for procrastination are Spotify and Hulu, who have partnered to offer American students “the perfect streaming entertainment bundle.” If, of course, “perfect” is now a euphemism for “dangerous to grades.”
Starting on September 7, students can sign up for Spotify Premium for Students and get Hulu as part of the deal. That means that for one subscription plan of $5 a month, the nation’s young academic minds can find new ways to multitask while doing their reading or completing their assignments.
“In bringing Spotify and Hulu together, we’ re now able to offer students — both the millions already on Spotify Premium, and those who are new to Spotify — access to the world’s best music, TV and movie content in the simplest possible way, ” said Alex Norstrom, chief premium business officer at Spotify. “We’ re very excited to be partnering with Hulu — a like-minded company which is as focused as we are on delivering the very best in high quality streaming content.”
Both new and existing Spotify student subscribers can take advantage of the new partnership, which promises access to Hulu’s Limited Commercials plan. This collaboration marks the first time Spotify has ever worked alongside a TV and movie service, though if this proves successful, it might not be the last.
“We are proud to announce Spotify as our newest strategic partner — they’ re an iconic brand in music streaming and a proven leader in reaching and engaging young consumers, ” said Tim Connolly, senior vice president and head of distribution and partnerships at Hulu. “By bundling our enormous catalogs of content together in a single, highly compelling offer, we’ re making it easier for people to enjoy all of the TV and music they love, whenever and wherever they want.”

Пресс-секретарь президента РФ Дмитрий Песков заявил, что идею о размещении миротворческой миссии ООН на Донбассе необходимо обсуждать с представителями боевиков «ДНР» и «ЛНР».
Об этом сообщает «РИА Новости».
«Любые миротворцы могут размещаться в точке соприкосновения конфликтующих сторон с согласия этих конфликтующих сторон. Как вы знаете, РФ не является стороной этого конфликта, конфликт на юго-востоке Украины в первую очередь подлежит обсуждению между Киевом и властями республик — ЛНР и ДНР, поэтому, наверное, это основная модальность, которую было бы неразумно отвергать и нелогично абстрагировать. Это первое и изначальное условие размещения любых миротворцев», — сказал Песков.
Отметим, что РФ официально не позиционирует себя стороной конфликта на Донбассе, хотя международное сообщество многократно заявляло об обратном. Также Кремль называет «республиками» подконтрольные боевикам «ДНР» и «ЛНР» территории Донбасса, хотя официально отказывается признавать их независимость.
Как сообщал «Апостроф», российский оппозиционер Константин Боровой рассказал о хитрости в плане Кремля по миротворцам на Донбассе.

Україна вимагатиме від російської сторони забезпечити допуск консулів до українця Павла Гриба, який зараз перебуває в СІЗО в Краснодарському краї Росії. Таку заяву в четвер, 7 вересня, зробив директор департаменту консульської служби МЗС України Василь Кирилич в ефірі телеканалу 112 Україна.
«Посольству України в Російській Федерації та генеральному консульству України в Ростові-на-Дону дано доручення терміново звернутися з нотою до МЗС Російської Федерації і до представництва МЗС у Краснодарському краї з вимогою невідкладно забезпечити доступ українських консулів до затриманого громадянина України. Повідомити про причини й обставини затримання, умови утримання та забезпечення його права на адвокатський захист», — сказав Кирилич.
За його словами, консули, які прибули для розшуку Павла Гриба, не були допущені до нього. А це є порушенням Консульської конвенції між Україною і Російською Федерацією.
Також Кирилич додав, що консульство поки що не має необхідної інформації про причини й обставини затримання українця.
Нагадаємо, раніше стало відомо, що в Білорусі за загадкових обставин зник 19-річний син члена громадської ради Держприкордонслужби Ігоря Гриба — Павло. Батько стверджує, що ФСБ виманила Павла в Гомель під виглядом зустрічі з дівчиною і провела затримання.
Пізніше винуватиця зникнення 19-річного українця дійсно вказала на слід ФСБ .
Україна направила Білорусі ноту через зникнення свого громадянина. Пізніше консул у Мінську повідомив, що Гриба немає серед затриманих чи заарештованих у білоруських СІЗО.
Українські ЗМІ також повідомили, що сім’я зниклого українця Гриба подала в ЄСПЛ позов проти Росії.
А в четвер, 7 вересня, стало відомо, що зниклий українець перебуває в слідчому ізоляторі міста Краснодар. Його звинувачують у тероризмі.

Credit rating giant Equifax admits hack; as many as 143 million affected

The credit rating firm said hackers exploited a bug on the company’s website.
Equifax, one of the largest credit rating and reporting firm in the US, has become the latest company to reveal a data breach.
The incident was discovered on July 29, according to a company statement released after market close on Thursday.
The Atlanta, Georgia-headquartered company said that hackers had between mid-May through July exploited a vulnerability on its website to access certain files.
The data includes names, social security numbers, birth dates, home addresses, and in some cases, driving license information.
It’s thought to be the largest data breach reported so far this year.
As many as 143 million Americans are said to be affected, the company said, representing about half of the US population.
The company said that 209,000 credit card numbers were accessed, and other personally identifiable information on 182,000 consumers were accessed by the hackers.
Some UK and Canadian residents are also affected, the statement confirmed.
«This is clearly a disappointing event for our company, and one that strikes at the heart of who we are and what we do. I apologize to consumers and our business customers for the concern and frustration this causes, » said Richard Smith, Equifax chief executive.
A website has been set up to help consumers determine if they are affected.
At the time of writing, the company is already down more than 6 percent in after-hours trading.

News sites and analysts say the Android and Pixel maker is poised to buy… something from troubled phone company HTC.
This much we think we know: Google and HTC are in the «final stages of acquisition talks, » according to a report Thursday by Business Insider, citing a translation from the Taiwanese Commercial Times. The Commercial Times doesn’t say what Google would pay for HTC’s phone business, according to the report.
That lack of detail raises some questions. Is it for all of the phone business, as the report suggests, or is it only for HTC’s phone R&D team, which is what a UBS note to investors says? The UBS note also cites the Commercial Times.
Such a deal would potentially benefit Google because «deeper integration of hardware/software would offset some of the Android fragmentation issues that do not plague Apple iOS, » UBS said.
The search and software giant already offers its own phone, the Google Pixel, and is rumored to launch a new version on Oct. 5.

Equifax Inc. revealed Thursday a data breach that might have affected 143 million U. S. consumers.
The credit information agency said the breach happened between mid-May and July. It was discovered July 29.

“This is clearly a disappointing event for our company, and one that strikes at the heart of who we are and what we do. Smith said in a statement posted on the company website. “We pride ourselves on being a leader in managing and protecting data.”
The company said there is no evidence of unauthorized activity on Equifax’s core consumer or commercial credit reporting databases.
Customers can sign up for credit monitoring and identity theft protection by at www.equifaxsecurity2017.com .
