In a record-setting fourth quarter that saw Apple generate $78.4 billion in revenue, there was one downbeat note—the iPad. While the iPhone, Mac and Apple Watch all set new quarterly revenue records in the fourth quarter, Apple’s iPad sales tumbled 22 percent compared to the same period in 2015. Unit sales were down 19 percent year over year in what can only be described as a disappointing quarter for Apple tablet sales.
