Despite its predecessor releasing on Xbox 360, Platinum Games‘ Nier: Automata won’t be launching on Xbox One, according to the game’s producer Yosuke Saito, blaming low sales of the console in Japan.
After much suspense over its release on Xbox One, Platinum Games have announced that Nier: Automata will not be releasing on the platform.
The game’s producer Yosuke Saito claimed that low sales of the console in Japan are to blame for the decision, adding that it wasn’t a matter of the ‚better‘ platform but merely a development decision.
