Tigers minor league report: With Lakeland pitchers sizzling, could Anthony Gose be next?

A hard-throwing left-hander, Gose has been working on rekindling his curveball from high school while adding a slider to his arsenal.
Anthony Gose could make his professional debut as a pitcher as early as Monday with the Class A (Advanced) Lakeland Flying Tigers.
Gose has been working on the conversion from outfielder to pitcher during the last six weeks in extended spring training, and he’s earned mainly positive reviews. But this would be his first appearance in a “real” game.
A hard-throwing left-hander, Gose has been working on rekindling his curveball from high school while adding a slider to his arsenal.
He was a mega-prospect coming out of high school who could have been drafted as either a pitcher or position player. He opted for the outfield, but decided to try a return to pitching this spring. He’s 26, so he could move up the ladder relatively quickly if he pitches well.
