Amazon Prime Day starts today, here’s what the competitors have brought to the fight.
Amazon has kicked off with its Prime Day in 12 countries including India on Monday. It is expected that the Prime Day will feature heavy discounts across categories along with some irresistible deals for the consumers. We, Indian shoppers, are known for a lot of patience when it comes to online shopping, figuring out the best deals on products and today, they are raining down like cats and dogs. Amazon Prime Day will start at 6 PM on Monday, July 10 where only Prime Members can partake in the sale.
Other e-Commerce players in the country, such as Flipkart and Snapdeal are not unfamiliar with Amazon’s play and hence have also launched different deals and discounts to attract shoppers. Let’s have a look as to what rival e-tailers are offering to consumers on Amazon Prime Day.
Flipkart is hosting Vivo’s Campus Carnival from July 10th to 12th where they are offering some heavy discounts on Vivo smartphones. The newly launched Vivo V5S has received a Rs 1,000 flat off along with an extra Rs 2,000 off on exchange.
On Other Vivo smartphones such as the V5 Plus IPL Limited Edition smartphone and the Vivo V5, users will get an additional Rs 3,000 discount over regular exchange prices. Mid-range and low-range Vivo smartphones which include the Y66, V5Plus, Y55S and Y53 are also available at an extra exchange discount of Rs 1,500.
Samsung Galaxy On Max will also go on sale starting July 10 at 11: 59 PM IST on Flipkart where Standard Chartered bank users are eligible to get a flat Rs 2,000 off on the purchase.
Lenovo smartphones on Flipkart have also received a price cut and are available at up to Rs 3,500 discounted rates. The Lenovo smartphones under these deals include the K5 Note, K6 Power, Vibe K5 Plus, Lenovo P2 along with the ANT VR headset.
Apart from this, Flipkart is providing discounts on some budget smartphones, Televisions among others as a part of their Deals of the day.
Snapdeal is hosting a Grand Unbox Sale from July 9th to 11th where they have listed some exciting deals and discounts in lieu of Amazon Prime Day.
Snapdeal is offering up to 60 percent off on bestselling electronics with an additional 10 percent discount for Induslnd and HSBC Bank Credit/Debit Card holders. Some deals include discounts of up to 31 percent on Lenovo laptops, 36 percent off on WD My Passport External HDD and Skullcandy Riff earphones, 70 percent off on Gaming keyboards among others.
