Faruq Khalil Muhammed ‚Isa helped funnel jihadist fighters from Edmonton, Canada, where he was living, to Iraq.
On Tuesday, ‚Isa, 50, pleaded guilty in Brooklyn Federal Court to conspiracy to murder U. S. nationals. The plea deal calls for ‚Isa to receive a 26-year sentence.

Judge Roslynn Mauskopf said she’s reserving her own decision on the plea terms, including the potential 26-year sentence.
