„I think it’s time for her to tell her story … „
Stormy Daniels ‚ lawyer confirmed in an interview Wednesday morning that his client had a sexual relationship with President Donald Trump and that “from a legal perspective, we believe she is free to talk.”
Speaking openly for the first time, the former porn star’s lawyer, Michael Avenatti, said “yes” when asked bluntly by Savannah Guthrie on NBC’s “Today” show if his client, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, had a sexual relationship with the president.
“Does she still have photos, images, text messages, documents that verify this claim?” Guthrie asked.
“That’s a question that Miss Daniels will have to ultimately answer,“ Avenatti said. ”[…] I do know the answer, and I’m not at liberty to disclose it this morning.“
Avenatti added: “She’s looking to disclose the truth about what happened. […] At this point, in light of the amount of misinformation that Mr. Cohen has put out there to The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, and others, I think it’s time for her to tell her story and for the public to decide who’s telling the truth.”

And on Tuesday, Daniels filed a lawsuit against Trump, claiming the nondisclosure agreement she signed is invalid because it was signed by only Daniels and Trump’s attorney.
He also called it “highly questionable” that Cohen paid the $130,000 out of his own pocket to Daniels.
“We think it’s highly questionable as to whether it came from his personal funds,“ Avenatti said. ”[…] The idea that an attorney would go off on his own, without his client’s knowledge, and engage in this type of negotiation and enter in this type of agreement — quite honestly, I think — is ludicrous.“
