Today Microsoft rolls out Build 17672, with a big new change to security.
In this new release, the Windows Security Center (WSC) service now requires antivirus products to run as a protected process to register. Ones which don’t will not appear in the Windows Security UI, and Windows Defender Antivirus will run alongside them, offering a second line of defense.
