One man was killed and another was injured in a shooting Thursday night in Opa-locka, police say.
Opa-locka police officers were called to Northwest 143rd Street and Northwest 23rd Place over a report of two people being shot just before 7:30 p.m.
On man died at the scene, the other was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center.
Miami-Dade Police Department’s Homicide Bureau is investigating.
No other information was immediately available.
