FRANKFURT (Reuters) – Shares in Dialog Semiconductor fell by 15 percent on Friday after the Anglo-German chipmaker said Apple would cut orders for its power-management chips by around 30 percent this year.
The news also hit other European semiconductor stocks in Apple’s smartphone supply chain.
Austria’s Ams AG shed 2.7 percent while STMicroelectronics fell by around 1 percent in Paris, making the stock the worst performer on France’s benchmark CAC-40 index.
