At least five people died and around 40 were injured after a fire ripped through a construction site in Tama City, in the western part of Tokyo prefecture, on Thursday, July 26, Kyodo news agency reported. About 30 of the injured were in serious condition, the Tokyo Fire Department said. More than 300 workers were reportedly on site when the multi-storey structure caught fire in the afternoon. This video, as well as photos of the fire, was shot and shared online by a Tama City resident, Sho Wada, on July 26.
