Sharing a racy clip to her Instagram followers, the singer / songwriter teased a little skin and an arch smile to please her most ardent fans.
If there’s one thing that most can agree upon, it’s that pop starlet Demi Lovato is most definitely not boring, at least not according to her most recent Instagram story. A one-two punch of sizzling photos strung together in the Insta story shows, at first, the smoky eyed singer looking directly into the camera, raven hair slung over one eye, the other taking on a mocking glint. Wearing a simple black strappy tank showing a lot of skin, the photo eventually transitions to the second one in the set.
Here, followers see Demi Lovato in much higher visual fidelity, tanned body lying sideways on the bed. Still wearing the same black low-cut cut, Lovato smiles in a half-smirk, touching her painted fingertips to her lips, moving about somewhat suggestively. Her top is cropped, or pulled up over her stomach, revealing finely tanned and bronzed skin.
Lovato is no stranger to Instagram controversy, posting suggestive photographs to the social media platform on the regular and at a quick pace as part of her public image. Sexuality has always sold and it would appear that it is at least one of the tools in the pop singer’s arsenal utilized in order to attract new fans as well as to retain her existing base of support.
Combined with a sense of effortless glamor, it is easy to understand why Lovato is one of the most followed and most listened to voices of the current musical generation, inside of her artistic genre or not. Her concerts are theatrical, sexy, and filled with a certain energy and talent that is hard to find anywhere else, even in a particularly saturated musical genre.
Three days ago the voice behind “Sorry Not Sorry” and “Skyscraper” took to Insta to post a picture of herself in a vintage bathing suit, kneeling atop a luxury watercraft. The boat, stark white against a background of beautiful blue skies and ocean, matches Lovato’s 50’s inspired black and white bikini bandeau and high-waisted swimsuit bottoms. Hair trademark tresses blow freely in the wind as she rests her arms behind her head, eyes hidden behind designer sunglasses. Her fans obviously appreciated the view, as the post attracted nearly 3 million likes on Insta in less than 72 hours.

Demi Lovato is a multi-platinum recording artist who defies expectations at every turn, and is currently setting the scene on fire with her performances and her social media presence. Few current stars can claim her level of fame with some notable exceptions such as Taylor Swift, with whom Lovato has had some very public feuds in the past according to E! Online.
