Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck’s divorce is reportedly in jeopardy of being dismissed if they “fail to take the appropriate steps.”
They are still legally married a year after the popular Hollywood couple filed for divorce, according to a Friday report from Blast. The Los Angeles County Superior Court reportedly warned the pair that “if you fail to take the appropriate steps in your case, the court may dismiss your case for delay in prosecution.” (RELATED: Jennifer Garner Opens Up About Life After Divorce And Dating Again)

The divorce has reportedly yet to be settled because the “final judgement has not been filed and entered.”
It is unknown what has caused the delay. But sources close to the pair told the outlet that the “divorce is close to being wrapped up.”
Three years ago, Garner and Affleck shared that they were separating after 10 years of marriage. But it wasn’t until 2017 that she filed for divorce and that Affleck moved out of the home they were sharing.
Shortly after, reports surfaced that the “Justice League” star had moved on with Lindsay Shookus, a producer for “Saturday Night Live.”
Since then, the “13 Going on 30″ star and Affleck have been co-parenting their three children, something that Garner has previously said is priority number one.
“We are definitely a modern family. We’re doing really well,” the actress explained. . “It has to be [children first]. You have no choice. It has to be.”
