John Mellencamp is coming to Saginaw next April and pre-sale tickets are available next week.
SAGINAW, MI – American recording artist John Mellencamp is coming to Saginaw’s Dow Event Center Theater next April to perform in concert.
He is visiting Saginaw for a concert on Thursday, April 11. The name of his scheduled tour is „The John Mellencamp Show“ and coincides with his new studio album release.
Suzanne Kart, marketing manager for the event center, said pre-sale tickets are available beginning at 10 a.m. Nov. 8. Members of Mellencamp’s Fan Club, called The John Mellencamp Community, can purchase tickets beginning Nov. 7.
General sale tickets are available on Friday, Nov. 9, and tickets are available on Ticketmaster.com or in-person at the event center.
Ticket prices are $39.50, $59.50, $89.50 and $129.50.
Kart said there is an eight ticket per person purchase limit.
According to a news release, Mellencamp’s career spans more than 35 years and has seen him transition from a pop star to „one of the most highly respected singer/songwriters of a generation.“
His hit songs include „Pink Houses,“ „Jack and Diane,“ „Crumblin‘ Down,“ „Lonely Ol‘ Night“ and „R. O. C. K. in the USA.“
Mellencamp will do several shows in Michigan next year. On Feb. 17 he will be in Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo on April 9.
