Microsoft is rolling out a new update to Office Insiders in the Monthly Channel for Windows desktop, bringing @mentions to Excel, a new search experience for recent documents, and more.
Office Insiders in the Monthly Channel (Targeted) should be getting updates for the apps for Windows desktop. Version 1901, build 11231.20080, is rolling out starting today and it includes a handful of improvements for many of the apps in the suite.
For starters, comments and @mentions are now available in Excel. The latter feature was previously added to Word and PowerPoint with the September update, and it’s now available for the three major Office apps.
