A Pixel 3 owner requested a refund after receiving a defective unit. Google accidentally sends 10 Pixel 3 devices on the next order. The customer still wants fair trade and is willing to return the additional 9 devices in exchange for the refund amount.
When it comes to customer support, Google isn’t exactly the name that tops the list. With only a few years of experience in direct selling a product and offering a customer support system, Google is way behind in terms of experience when compared to Samsung and Apple. A few months ago, we saw an example in India when a Pixel owner took to the streets to demand justified service for his defective phone. Now, a similar issue has happened outside India where a customer received a defective unit of the Pixel 3. However, things were magnified to an extreme extent this time.
A Reddit user going by the name of u/Cheetohz has posted about his experience with Google’s customer support where he eventually ends up holding the advantage over the company.
