Company announces HP ENVY Wood Series at Computex
HP going for wood on its laptops isn’t necessarily surprising, as the company has previously been experimenting with several premium materials that would set the ENVY laptops apart from the rest of the crowd, including leather.
The wooden laptops will be sold in three different color combinations, all with a wood finish: Natural Silver with Pale Birch, Nightfall Black with Natural Walnut, and Ceramic White with White Birch.
While in terms of looks the laptops obviously provide a very premium feeling, HP didn’t want to ignore the under-the-hood part either, so the company used powerful hardware like Intel’s 10th generation processors called Ice Lake.
