If you still play that Andrpoid-powered Ouya gaming console, it now officially has a shelf life. Razer announced that it will shut down the service in June.
The beleaguered Android-based gaming console known as Ouya came in with a bang, dealt with some rocky progress, and ultimately is exiting with a whisper.
According to Razer — which bought the Ouya brand for an undisclosed sum in June 2015 — the micro-console’s game service will shut down on June 25,2019. After that date, most if not all of the games in the game store will cease to work correctly, depending on whether or not the developers instituted a purchase validation upon launch.
