‚Star Wars‘ is going to be fun again.
Fans have been wanting Taika Waititi to create a Star Wars movie for years, and now, it’s finally official; Waititi will direct and co-write a Star Wars film, although no release date has been set for the project.
Joining Waititi on the screenplay will be Krysty Wilson-Cairns (1917), who is clearly able to tell a strong story through action, with sparse dialogue.
Thor: Ragnarok was proof that Waititi can work around a behemothic corporation obsessed with merchandise sales, able to create a distinctive story using the rigid Marvel template.
