Tropical Storm Eta strengthened to a Category 1 hurricane Wednesday as it threatens to slam into Florida for the second time this week. Eta was roughly 115 miles southwest of Port Charlotte Wednesday morning and moving at 10 mph, according to the National Hurricane Center. The storm’s maximum sustained winds increased to 75 mph.
