HMD Global has announced the launch of two new feature phones, Nokia 6300 4G and Nokia 8000 4G, both running KaiOS under the hood.
Nokia 6300 4G and Nokia 8000 4G are the two latest phones to have made a comeback. The classic phones Nokia 6300 Classic and Nokia 8800 have been launched in refreshed avatars, which although retain most crucial design elements but let go of the stainless plates and metallic finish for other materials. The Nokia 6300 4G has a polycarbonate body while the Nokia 8000 4G uses a glass-like coating, which makes it the most premium-looking feature phone launched by HMD Global. The Nokia 6300 4G and Nokia 8000 4G both run on KaiOS software, which is the most preferred platform for feature phones because of the compatibility it offers. Because of KaiOS, the Nokia 6300 4G and Nokia 8000 4G will be able to run WhatsApp, Facebook, Google, Gmail, YouTube, and other apps that can be downloaded from the KaiStore.
