A league source told the Free Press that New Orleans Saints assistant head coach Dan Campbell has emerged as a finalist to replace Matt Patricia as head coach, with NFL Network calling him „the favorite“ to be hired. The Lions currently are in a holding pattern when it comes to scheduling second interviews, but plan to meet with at least one candidate in person before formalizing a deal.
