A Russian model who desperately wanted to be voted off a Chinese boy band competition so he could go home, yet kept advancing despite lackluster performances, finally got his wish Saturday. Vladislav Ivanov,27, made it all the way to the finals of “Produce Camp 2021″ despite not even initially entering the competition, the South China Morning Post reported. Ivanov originally traveled to Hainan Island in south China as a translator for two Japanese contestants, according to The Guardian. But producers noticed his boyish good looks and invited him to join as a contestant, beginning in mid-February.
