Hurrah! Starting this Saturday, June 5, 2020 most Walmart WMT stores will be open nationwide for longer hours. They will open at 6 a.m. and close at 11 p.m. Most stores had been open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. This is a welcome change for customers whose work day does not allow for earlier shopping. Some Walmart stores closed as early as 6 p.m. Maria Halkias, of the Dallas News reports that some malls like NorthPark Center are also extending their hours from the short day of the pandemic to 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Halkias points out that Galleria Dallas will have the same opening hours and I suspect that other malls will quickly fall in line and also open at these hours.
