A new Amazon facility in Fife, Washington, that’s set to open later this month, has started hiring. Amazon says it is hiring more than 500 positions ahead of the launch of its 520,000 square-foot sort center in Fife. The facility will open later in October, in partnership with the Puyallup Tribe of Indians and Marine View Ventures, the tribe’s economic development entity. New Amazon Fulfillment Center to open in Arlington Employees at the sort center will help sort and ship packages for final delivery to customers.
