The series debuts on December 29, with new episodes premiering every Wednesday. Bounty hunter Boba Fett was a villain in the original „Star Wars“ films. He made his first appearance in an animated segment in the 1978 „Star Wars Holiday Special,“ and then made his live-action debut in „The Empire Strikes Back.“ Boba Fett resurfaced in the Disney Plus series „The Mandalorian,“ and in „The Book of Boba Fett“ he plans to take over the criminal underworld once controlled by his former employer, Jabba the Hutt. Boba Fett is played by Temuera Morrison, the actor who played Boba’s father, Jango Fett, in „Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones.
