Valve has brought its Steam Deck repair centers online.
„If you encounter an issue and need to send your Steam Deck for repair or replacement, devices will now go to one of our repair centers,“ the company says. „Once there, our team will diagnose the device, repair if needed, then ship the fixed unit back to you.“
Valve says that repairs covered by the Steam Deck’s warranty will be offered at no cost to the consumer. Problems that aren’t covered by the device’s warranty can still be fixed at these centers, the company says, but people are expected to pay for these repairs to their Steam Deck.
