In December 2022, we reported that Google would enable spatial audio on Pixel 7 and 6 series smartphones in the January update. Google enables spatial audio on said smartphones with the January 2023 patch update. Earlier, the toggle to enable spatial audio was found on Pixel 6 Pro with the Android 13 QPR1 Beta 1 update. However, the later updates took that toggle away. Later in December, the spatial audio came back through a feature drop update.
