Donald Trump raged against E. Jean Carroll in dozens of social media posts on Monday, though never once publicly mentioned his 19th wedding anniversary to Melania Trump.
The former first lady has recently been out of the spotlight, due in part to the January 9 death of her 78-year-old mother, Amalija Knavs. The former president skipped last Thursday’s court hearing in Manhattan to attend a private family funeral service at The Episcopal Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea, located in proximity to Mar-a-Lago.
Donald and Melania were married on January 22, 2005, after first meeting in September 1998 while the ex-president was separated from his then ex-wife, Marla Maples, with whom he had a child, Tiffany. Donald proposed to Melania in April 2004 at the Met Gala, and their son, Barron, was born after about one year of marriage.
He reposted a Truth Social post by Melania, who expressed her heartfelt appreciation to everyone who reached out and offered their condolences regarding her mother’s passing—though the final president did not post any message mentioning their anniversary.
