The new Realme P1 Pro (review) looks similar to the Realme 12+ 5G (review) and is priced similarly, but they have a different ethos. The former is designed for performance-focused users, while the latter is aimed at camera-centric customers. Interestingly, both smartphones carry the same primary Sony camera sensor with OIS (optical image stabilisation), meaning you can expect similar results in photography. However, the performance may differ as the new Realme P1 Pro packs a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC by Qualcomm, and the Realme 12+ 5G comes with Dimensity 7050 SoC from MediaTek.
