W ramach porozumienia Ukraina wyeksportowała ponad 32 mln ton kukurydzy, pszenicy i innych zbóż. Według ONZ dzięki korytarzowi zbożowemu ceny żywności obniżone zostały o ponad 20 proc. na całym świecie.

French news outlets Liberation and BFM TV reported that Birkin was found dead at her home in Paris French newspaper Le Figaro reported that Birkin had suffered from health issues in the past few years that kept her from performing and her public appearances became sparse.
BFM TV said Birkin suffered a mild stroke in 2021, forcing her to cancel shows that year. She canceled her shows again in March due to a broken shoulder blade.
A return to performing in May was put off, the French broadcaster said, quoting the singer as saying she needed a bit more time and promising her fans she would see them again come the fall.

The weekend’s brutal weather across the US turned deadly Saturday in Pennsylvania’s Bucks County, reports USA Today. Four people are dead and four more are missing after they were caught in fast-rising floodwaters, per ABC6. „It’s very possible it could be more,“ says county coroner Meredith Buck. The details are still being sorted out, but it appears at least three of the victims abandoned their vehicle or vehicles as the water rose around them. They were identified only as two women and a man, and their bodies were found together.

The four people missing are a family that includes a 2-year-old and a 9-month-old, according to the TV station. The worst of the flooding occurred along the county’s Route 532, says a statement from the Upper Makefield police. „The flash flooding caught numerous motorists by surprise and many were trapped.“ The water rose 5 feet above the roadway in some places. Woman who went missing after helping toddler on highway returns home, transported to hospital for evaluation

A woman went missing Thursday after calling 911 and stopping to help a child she saw walking alone on an Alabama interstate.
— A 25-year-old Alabama woman returned home late Saturday after being the focus of a two-day search by police and family members who reported her missing after she stopped to check on a child who was walking along a highway.
Police said Carlethia “Carlee” Nichole Russell had returned to the home she shares with her parents in Hoover, AL. Hoover Police Chief Nick Derzis said Russell arrived home alone and was transported to a hospital for evaluation.
Russell’s whereabouts were not immediately clear since around 10:45 p.m. Thursday when she called 911 and a family member to say she saw a young child walking on the side of I-459.
Police found Russell’s car and her cell phone but were unable to find her or a child in the area.
Hoover Police Lt. Daniel Lowe said the family member on the phone with Russell lost contact with her even though the line remained open. A single witness reported possibly seeing a gray vehicle and a man standing outside of Carlee’s vehicle, but they had no additional information.
Police asked people to report any information they might have about her disappearance, while family members organized a search in the area.
Talitha Russell said that her daughter was headed home in the community about 10 miles (16 kilometers) south of Birmingham after leaving work and stopping to get food. She was on the phone with her brother’s girlfriend when she said she saw a child on the roadside.
“My son’s girlfriend heard her asking the child, ‘Are you Ok?‘ She never heard the child say anything but then she heard our daughter scream,’’ Talitha Russell said. “From there, all you hear on her phone is background noise from the interstate.”
During the search there were two separate rewards of $20,000 and $5,000 for information assisting Hoover’s safe return, police said.
Russell went missing Thursday after calling 911 and stopping to help a child she saw walking alone on an Alabama interstate.
Detectives were asking for the public’s assistance to help locate Carlethia „Carlee“ Nichole Russell, 25, of Hoover, Alabama.
The Hoover Police Department held a press conference Friday that was posted on the department’s Facebook page.
Russell got off work Thursday around 8:20 p.m. and was heading home from the summit in Birmingham. Police said she picked up food on the way from a place at the colonnade.
She was driving toward Hoover, Alabama, on Interstate 459 and was traveling south when she stopped near Mile Marker 11, according to police.
At 9:34 p.m., the Hoover 911 center received a call from a woman who reported that she saw a toddler walking on the side of the interstate.
After calling 911, Russell stopped to check on the child. She called a family member to tell them what was going on. That family member lost contact with Russell during the call, but the line remained open.
When police officers arrived at the scene, they located Russell’s car and some of her belongings.
Officers were not able to locate Russell or the child. Police said they have not received any additional calls of a missing child.
The investigation
A family member said she heard Russell scream before the call ended.
Police said a single witness reported possibly seeing a gray vehicle with a man standing outside of Russell’s car. Police have no further information on the person or vehicle at this time.
At the press conference, one reporter asked if the child was potentially used as „bait,“ which is a ploy traffickers often use to lure victims. Another reporter asked if law enforcement is exploring the possibility that the man spotted outside Russell’s car may have taken her.
Police said they are exploring every possibility.
One reporter asked why an Ashanti Alert wasn’t issued. Police said they sent all of the information to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), who will review it and decide if it’s enough to issue an alert. For those who don’t know, an Ashanti Alert is essentially an Amber Alert for someone over the age of 18 who has been abducted.
„Each case is unique,“ an officer said at the press conference. „And this case is certainly a unique instance in our city, and we’re doing everything we can to solve it.“
The police department is working with local, state and federal partners in this investigation.
Police said they’re receiving a lot of tips and assigning investigators to see where that information leads. Police said they do not know if there have been any sightings of Russell.
„No piece of information is too small in this investigation,“ the officer said.
Russell is a 25-year-old who is 5 feet and four inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants and white Nike tennis shoes.
An anonymous donor has offered $20,000 for the safe return of Russell.
If you have any information, please contact Detective Brad Fountain at 205-444-7562 or Sgt. Drew Mims at 205-739-7274. You can submit information anonymously with Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777. Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000 for information that leads to finding Russell.

Tesla's Giga Texas plant rolls the first production Cybertruck off the assembly line

Earlier this year, Musk told earnings call participants that mass production of the company’s EV pickup wouldn’t begin until sometime in 2024, with manufacturing beginning sometime in.
Highly anticipated: Tesla fans and detractors alike have anxiously awaited the Cybertruck’s delivery since it was announced in November 2019. Since then, the vehicle’s development has encountered numerous delays, unflattering information leaks, and even cringeworthy demonstrations, leading some to question Tesla’s ability to deliver a timely, competitive vehicle in the growing EV pickup market. Fortunately for Cybertruck fans, a tweet from Tesla’s Austin factory on Saturday may have finally answered that question.
Earlier this year, Musk told earnings call participants that mass production of the company’s EV pickup wouldn’t begin until sometime in 2024, with manufacturing beginning sometime in the summer of 2023. An early Saturday morning tweet from Tesla’s official account appears to back Musk’s previous claims, proudly showing the team from Giga Austin surrounding the first production Cybertruck to leave its assembly line.
The announcement comes just a few days after Musk posted pictures while driving the Cybertruck around the Austin, TX area. A video of the EV on the streets of Austin was also posted, giving viewers a real-life look at the vehicle’s angles and approach.
Tesla’s Giga Texas facility is almost as impressive as the vehicles it produces. The ultramodern factory spans 2,500 acres and boasts more than 10 million square feet of manufacturing space used for Tesla’s current Model Y and upcoming Cybertruck lineup. If you need to put that into perspective, the facility is the equivalent of roughly 173 American football fields.
The space will be well used if Cybertruck production stays on target. The company claims to have received over 1.5 million Cybertruck reservations, though at just $100 per reservation, the actual number of buyers that follow through with delivery could end up being much lower.
While Tesla’s announcement is a step in the right direction, the EV automaker is still positioned to play catch-up to its competitors in the EV pickup market. Ford’s F-150 Lightning, the company’s full-size EV pickup offering, has been available since late 2021 and relatively well received by both consumers and reviewers. Tesla will also be up against other established vehicles and new entrants to the market including Rivian, GMC, and RAM.
Tesla still hasn’t announced the final price for its long-awaited EV pickup. The truck was originally targeted to hit the market at $39,900 for the single-motor variant, and approximately $70,000 for the three-motor variant. With any luck we’ll have a better picture of the truck’s pricing, features, and availability in the next few months. Maybe we’ll also get an update on that bulletproof glass.
